Titanic Stem Activity

There are many ways to use the Titanic in your science class. One of our favorite Titanic classroom activities is the Tinfoil Boat STEM project. To begin, each student (or group) will come up with a design for a boat that they think can hold the most pennies before sinking. After drawing out their design, they will create their boat and test it in a tub of water. Simply add 1 penny at a time until the boat is fully submerged underwater.
